Nissan Murano is a one of the upcoming cars of Nissan India. It looks like mid-size SUV and crossover. It is going to compete with the cars like Audi Q5, BMW X3 and BMW X1 in Indian market. So, obviously the price is hefty, it will come in the range of 35 to 37 lakhs. It was first unveiled in December 2002 and thereafter Nissan launched many upgraded versions of Murano. Recently the company has launched an upgraded version of it in US and Canadian market which is powered by a 3.5 liter, DOHC, V6 petrol engine. The company is planning to launch both petrol and diesel version of it in UK and Indian market by 2012.
Engine - It is a front wheel drive (FWD) vehicle which is also available with four wheel drive as an option. The car is equipped with powerful 3.5L, 24-valve, SOHC, V6, petrol engine. It has a capacity to produce 252 bhp at 6000 rpm and it is capable of churning 334 Nm at 4400 maximum of torque with CVT. You can reach 0-100 in just 8.5 seconds and can achieve maximum 210kmph speed. It comes with both petrol and diesel variants where diesel variant comes with 6 speed manual gearbox.
Exterior - It is a five door mid-size SUV which has an eye-catching attraction, the exterior of the car is superb with outstanding features. The head and fog lamps look very stylish which gives a sporty look for the car. It has got stylish front fascia and stunning rear design, The ORVMs are in body color with 3D Front fog lamps (like cluster). The car looks funky from rear side with LED tail lights and rear defogger. The 20 inch alloy wheels add much more beauty for the car. Totally the design of the car will attracts young generation, it looks like specially designed for youth in Indian market.
Interior - It will come with has extraordinary interior features. It looks cute with the two-tone beige with color coded wood. The quality of the leather used in interior is soft which creates a touchy feel in your heart. The BOSE Audio system with 11 speakers attracts music lovers where you can use USB, MMC and blue tooth to listen Music. It has spacious dashing board with several pockets where you can keep your valuables. You can easily handle AC controls. The boot space is good with four spike powered steering wheel. The driver seat of the car is 6 ways manual adjustable with lumber support while the passenger seat is 4 way adjustable; all the seats are heated.

Nissan Versa - Toyota’s Scion division has been a hit with the youth, while Nissan has been scrambling to provide models that can capture the interest of new drivers while being at the same time affordable. Scheduled for release by Summer 2006, the Versa will come with a 1.8L inline four cylinder engine and be available as either a five door hatchback or a four door sedan. The car will be manufactured in Mexico with a starting price in the neighborhood of 12 thousand dollars expected. FYI: The Mazda Verisa is a similarly named, but unrelated small car sold only in Japan.
Nissan Cube - Still in the “maybe it will be imported” stage, the new Cube is Nissan’s response to the Scion xB and the Honda Element. Seating five to seven adults, the Cube is exactly that: a box on wheels. Published reports suggest that the Cube will be released to the North American market by 2008.
Nissan Sentra - A new Sentra is expected to bow during the second half of 2006 as a 2007 model. Significant styling changes and an up market push are planned by Nissan to help the car compete more effectively with the VW Golf and Mazda 3.
Nissan Altima - The big change coming for the Altima is the introduction of a hybrid engine. Scheduled to hit Nissan showrooms by Fall 2006, this new Altima model will actually borrow Toyota technology to create Nissan’s first hybrid. The engine and the battery will be all Nissan, however; Nissan apparently needs an assist from its Japanese rival to enter the growing hybrid segment.

The all new 2012 Nissan Versa is coming soon. Nissan has built this car to be affordable, fuel efficient, spacious and safe.
The small Nissan car utilizes a 1.6L DOHC 4 cylinder engine that gets an astounding 37 mpg highway. This is the first Nissan model to earn the PureDrive badge. This PureDrive technology is focused on reducing one of the main causes of greenhouse gases: CO2 emission levels. The 2012 Nissan Versa has the industry’s first dual injector system that gets more out of every last drop of fuel. The constant valve timing control on both camshafts gives a quicker response and it has an available next-generation Continuously Variable Transmission. All this gives the Versa lower emissions and an EPA rating of 37 mpg.
This small yet spacious vehicle offers class leading legroom. It can seat five people comfortably with enough headroom to handle six-footers. Although the car has lost about an inch of length and height, it has more truck space than before due to improvements to the engine and transaxle. Inside, buyers will find cloth seat trim, front and rear cup holders, rear window defroster, tilt steering column, and an auxiliary 12-volt DC power outlet. It’s also loaded with plenty of new technology features that will keep buyers entertained. It has a Bluetooth® hands free phone system, USB connection port for iPod® interface, and a Nissan navigation system with a 5 inch touch-screen monitor. On the exterior, one will find of the car has 15 inch wheels, multi-reflector halogen headlights, and energy-absorbing body-color front and rear fascias.
Although the Nissan Versa is very spacious, it is still a small car. However, small can now be safe too. The Versa has plenty of safety features to keep consumers safe. It comes with six airbags, anti-lock braking system, brake override technology, brake assist, traction control, and advanced braking. It also has a driver and passenger restraint system, hood-buckling creases, energy-absorbing steering column, structural collision safety system, and a tire pressure monitoring system. It also has a latch system with lower anchors and tethers for children.
The 2012 Nissan Versa, Nissan’s car that offers space, efficiency, versatility and a multitude of safety features, is sure to be a beauty. The Versa is expected to be released in the fall of 2011.
